George Bowler

George Henry BOWLER

Born in Newhall, Cheshire in 1890, George was playing for Gresley Rovers when he was picked up by Derby but only made one appearance for the Rams before signing for Tottenham in 1913 where he fared little better, playing three games in six years.
He came to Luton on trial in September 1919, played two games in the half-back line, both of which were lost 4-0, and was not retained.
George passed away in Bethnal Green in 1948.
