Peter Thomas ANDERSON

Trained chartered accountant Peter was happily playing for Hendon when he was given the opportunity to go full-time at Kenilworth Road. He did not regret the decision though, making 181 League appearances for the Hatters as a tenacious and competitive midfielder and helping his side to promotion to Division One in 1974.
As Christmas 1975 approached, the Town were in dire financial straits and the transfer of Peter to Antwerp saved the club from liquidation. After coming back, Peter turned out for Sheffield United interspersed with spells in the USA.
A surprise choice as player-manager at Millwall, Peter lasted two years at the Den. After leaving football Peter became a successful businessman in Florida.
