Peter Holmes

Peter James HOLMES

A product of the F.A.School of Excellence as well as an England schoolboy and Youth international, Peter was snapped up by Sheffield Wednesday where he was coached by ex-Luton hero Ricky Hill.
When Hill became manager of the Hatters in 2000, Peter became one of his first signings and the talented midfielder was at Kenilworth Road for seven years although never able to carve out a regular place in the side.
Never letting the side down and banging in some vital goals in over 100 League appearances for the Town, Peter was allowed to go to Rotherham in 2007 before drifting down the divisions and playing at a good standard until his late thirties. He then accepted the post of assistant manager at Hayes and Yeading.
