Robert Bryce

Robert Stuart BRYCE

Born in Grangemouth in 1904, Robert was playing junior football in Scotland when he was picked up by Falkirk before joining Bournemouth in 1928. After 24 goals in 63 League appearances for the Dean Court outfit he was signed by the Town in the summer of 1930.
Most comfortable as a brave and forceful winger with an eye for goal he was in and out of the Luton side in his two years at Kenilworth Road even though commentators felt the team was better with him in it.
He returned to play is Scotland in 1932 and passed away in Buckrose in 1970.
