William Crump

William Harold (Harry) CRUMP

Born in Smethwick in 1874, Harry had one game for Wolves before being enticed to Tottenham, then embarking on their first season in the Southern League, in 1896.
After two years at White Hart Lane, he came to Football League club Luton and although the tough tackling and muscular half-back became a mainstay in the side he only lasted a season at Dunstable Road before rejoining Spurs.
Harry finished his career with spells at Brentford and Watford before passing away in Burton in 1918.
